Project Overview

The Client was looking at providing a SaaS solution to healthcare providers. The scope was to develop a Registration system (ADT), a Point of Care system (POC), a Pharmacy Management System (Rx), and a Laboratory Information System (LIS) including a Radiology system (RIS).

Inforsen was therefore chosen as the technology partner on the basis of a comprehensive service presentation prepared by the business analysis team. We gathered detailed requirements, gave suggestions of new functional elements, right choice of technologies backed by data and designed a high-level information architecture of the proposed system. Additionally, we developed a detailed blueprint of execution, security and uptime.

The Solution

• We started off with an in-depth analysis of the target platforms.
• We used SOAP APIs and implemented custom SAML implementation for different identity providers.
• After getting confirmation on the project discovery requirements for the ADT, Rx, POC, LIS and RIS, we proceeded with the solution design phase and UI mockup approval.
• A comprehensive technical solution architecture was documented. The client team being technically sound, was jointly engaged in technicalities.
• After the development, we eventually moved to the maintenance and support phase. Here, we managed new vendor onboardings, new environments, new requirements, patches, 24*7 uptime support, and ad-hoc requests.
• Throughout the project, we assisted the client as a true technology partner.
